My God- It's Full Of Cabinets!

Apologies to Arthur C Clarke- but that's pretty much how I felt when I was this.

The pictures tend to exaggerate the variation in color on the cabinets (which are hickory), but this is very exciting!

Now I just have to visualize the countertops (black with hints of blue).

Beautiful!! Cooktop and dishwasher go where? Or perhaps I need not ask since things are coming together so quickly. I think the floors and the cabinets look great together. You have excellent taste, my friends.

Uh-oh. I knew we forgot something.

Seriously- sink goes under the new window, dishwasher just to the right (next to that will be the ovens in the tall cabinet). Cooktop goes to the left of the sink along the other wall, with the fridge in the open area at the end. The island will have a small sink on it, and the microwave will be on the counter somewhere. The open area in the center of the Wall O'Cabinets will be for the coffeemaker and toaster.

That all make sense?

I really like the way things are looking! I think the cabinet wood has a beautiful rustic look which fits wonderfully with your Minnesota "Northwoods" environment. Love the paint colors, too. Can't wait to see the next installment.
